We can host up to 48 players at once across multiple rooms. Larger groups are split into teams to compete head-to-head, adding a fun competitive edge to your celebration.

The Game Masters will provide assitance and hints when required but never give the game away. Their job is to make sure you have a great time no matter if you are a novice or experienced player. View this page on What to Expect

All our rooms can take between 2 and 6 players. However, if you choose Prison Break Head to Head (2 identical Prison rooms) or Bunker Head to Head (2 identical Bunker rooms), then up to 12 people can share the same experience and race against each other to see who escapes first

Due to the size of our venue we can take any number of adults playing different rooms up to a maximum of 48. If you are having a kids birthday party for more than 32 you will also have exclusive venue use.

Yes we offer a variety of party packages – please see our options above on the main page. Our lounge area seats up to 48 people and we have a licence to sell a range of bottled Beer, Cider, Wine and Pre Mixed drinks for you to enjoy before or after your game. We also offer a range of non alcoholic drinks as well as bottled water and a range of snacks. You can also set up a bar tab or pay individually by EFTPOS

Please allow sufficient time either before or after your game for drinks. Please note, due to our licence, we are unable to serve players alcohol within 10 minutes of your game start time.

We are located in the heart of Hindley Street, in what used to be the old Greater Union Cinema complex. The Terrace on North Terrace car park is right next door and we’re surrounded by Gold Coast’s best restaurants, pubs, and nightclubs—making us the ideal launchpad for a full evening of fun.

If you wanted a relaxing dinner afterwards, there are some great restaurants nearby, esepcially in Peel Street, a short fine minute walk. If you’re planning a more adventurous night out, there are plenty of pubs and nightclubs to choose from in Hindley Street. Either way, Fox in a Box is a great place to start your Bucks event.

Each escape room session lasts 60 minutes but we require you to be invenue at least 15 minutes before your start time to allow for our briefing and gameplay. Please allow more time if you are having drinks before or after your game. We cannot sell alcohol 10 minutes before the start of your game time.

Most of our rooms are suitable for wheelchair users but please call us as some of our rooms such as Prison, Bunker, Mastermind Heist, Wild West Saloon and Zombie Lab are more suited than others. People with disabilities may fully enjoy our games but we ask that you call us prior to making your booking so that our staff can make appropriate suggestions and make any required alterations to your game to ensure a seamless experience.

Pregnant women may also enjoy our games as they are not physically challenging and there are no fear factors involved (it’s all in the mind as they say !) Also, there are seats in all rooms if a team member needs to rest for a while. Please call us to check the requirements if you are unsure.
